MUMBAI – NERAL
Pick up from hotel in Mumbai and drive up to place called Neral, which is located 11 km short to Matheran.

Upon arrival at Neral, board on toy train to Matheran. Enjoy two hours of toy train journey through serene and beautiful forest.
NERAL – MATHERAN

Sightseeing of Matheran:
Matheran is the smallest hill station situated at a distance of 90 km from Mumbai in the state of Maharastha. Neral is the nearest hill station where one can board on toy train to Matheran. Neral is 11 km short to Matheran while coming from Mumbai. Matheran’s proximity to the cities like Mumbai, Pune makes it famous excursion site or weekend getaway. Vehicles are not allowed in Matheran makes the hill station different from others. Thousands of domestic travelers flock the Matheran from Mumbai , Pune and many other metropolis every weekend but find this place remain unchanged for years.
It is quite peaceful hill station at an elevation of 800 mt, got more than 30 look-out points to enjoy an overlooking view of spectacular valleys and beautiful trails of surrounding areas. The view of sunrise and sunset is awesome from Panorama point. Every point has unique view and various walking paths are there to enjoy nature. Some famous points are Lousia Points, Rambagh Points and Monkey Points. Tourists come here to relax away from hustle and bustle of city life as it offers panoramic view of nature with tranquility.

Upon arrival at Neral railway station. You are picked up and drive to Mumbai.

One can reach Matheran directly from Mumbai by road. Car stops at Dasturi car park, 3 km before from the top of Matheran. One can ride up on horseback, hand pulled rickshaws and porters. Â
