Day Trip to Grover Vineyard

VISITING GROVER WINERY

After reaching at the Winery, the tour starts at 11:00 AM with a briefing about tour team introductions, safety etc.

Grover Vineyard and Winery Tour:

Upon arrival at the winery, you will be briefed about the history of wines and vineyard cultivation by the professionals. Winery tour of Grover Vineyard include demonstration of wine making process, wine tasting session and visit of oak barrels cellar followed by lunch with wine. At start of the tour, you will be taken to the vineyard and allowed to spend some time in the vineyard to take pictures there, which is about one kilometer from winery.

First you will be going through the crushing unit to make you understand the process of making wine, then move towards other areas such as filtering, processing,fermentation,storing in tanks, Bottling, labeling and packaging of wine bottles etc.

Barrel Room:

It is fairly a big room. While seeing the the various stages of productions. We go through the Barrel room, which is located a level below where wine tasting takes place. The premium brand like La reserve placed in oak barrels lined up on one side and sitting arrangement for tasting on other side. One entire wall of the room is filled with the bottled products. The ambiance with a tasting setup made out of real oak barrels.

Wine Tasting:

Here you are allowed to taste at least five different varieties of wine including the premium brand La reserve with an additional cost some times. It will be a good fun tasting varieties of wine, which are placed amidst oak barrels in air-condition cellar.

Lunch :
After tasting wine and clicking photographs, move ahead for delicious lunch accompanied by wine.
