Day Cruise Through Sundarbans Mangroves
Once arrived at Godkhali, board a boat and go for boat cruise sailing down through the Hooghly fringes, the world’s largest deltas, The Sundarbans. It is a sacred island where the Ganges meets the sea that forms thousands of deltas and islets. Sundarbans forest is the world’s largest mangrove; spread over a 10,000 square kilometer expanse, out of 60 % is in Bangladesh and remaining part in India. Sundarban is a natural abode of world’s largest population of tigers, numerous crocodiles, snakes and deer. It is also an UNESCO world heritage site.
We will be sailing through the vast Sundarbans forest to explore the largest mangroves and its rich flora and fauna. You can spot differentwildlife including deer, wild boars, civet cat, monitor lizard, crocodiles, dolphins and the most significance the Royal Bengal Tiger while cruising.
