The Amber Fort is a popular tourist spot of Rajasthan. Known for its beautiful architecture, the combination of white marble and red sandstone makes the fort’s architecture exceptionally distinct, Built by Maharaja Man Singh in the 16th century, Amber Fort represents a blend between Hindu and Muslim architectures. The construction of the fort began in 1592 by Man Singh I but was completed by his successor Jai Singh I. It was originally the old fort of the Kachhwala clan of AmberThe Amber Fort is situated on a hilltop and exhibits a rugged yet magnificent exterior. Tourists usually ride on an elephant to reach the fort. Within the complex are other beautiful architectures like the Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas, Diwan-e Aam, Diwan-e Khas and many temples.

After Lunch drive towards Jaipur City popularly known as the Pink City, was built in 1727 AD by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Designed in accordance with Shilp Shastra – an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture – Jaipur follows a grid system. Visiting City Palace and Observatory. The City Palace in the heart of the old city is a blend of Rajasthan and Mughal architecture. The Palace of winds – a five storied structure of pink sandstone has semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city. It was originally built to enable the ladies of the royal household to watch everyday life and explore the city’s culture till train departs.
