07:00 AM – DEPARTURE FROM DELHI
Begin your journey from Delhi to Agra early in the morning.The distance from Delhi to Agra is approximately 210 kilometers (130 miles) one way. By car, the journey typically takes around 3 to 4 hours. Enjoy a scenic drive, taking in the beautiful landscapes along the way.

10:30 AM – ARRIVAL IN AGRA
Upon arrival in Agra, guest is received by company’s representative to make sure that you get a good guide during the day trip who takes you for the sightseeing tour of Agra for the whole day. After an introduction of tour guide, guided city tour of Agra starts.

10:45 AM - VISIT THE TAJ MAHAL
Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, stands majestically on the banks of the Yamuna River and is considered one of the most stunning edifices ever constructed. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan initiated the construction of this Marble marvel in 1631, and it took 22 years and 20,000 workers to complete it in 1653. The intricate marble work was adorned with precious and semi-precious stones, which were meticulously placed to create a masterpiece. The marble was sourced from Makarna, near Jodhpur in Rajasthan, in the 16th century, and every detail of the monument was carefully planned and executed. Taj Mahal is often referred to as the Monument of Love, and its symmetry is truly breathtaking. It is awe-inspiring to imagine how such an incredible wonder was erected without the use of modern engineering tools and technology.

12:00 PM - VISIT AGRA FORT
Next, visit the impressive Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Mughal Emperor Akbar commissioned the construction of this grand fort between 1565 to 1573 on the western bank of the Yamuna River, located to the northwest of the iconic Taj Mahal. The fort is made of red sandstone and was initially known as the walled city. Legend has it that Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan was confined and detained by his son Aurangzeb in the fort, where he spent the last eight years of his life gazing at the Taj Mahal. Agra fort is renowned for its magnificent ramparts and remarkable architecture, and it has been honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

01:00 PM - LUNCH
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Try some authentic Mughlai cuisine, including dishes like biryani, kebabs, and paneer specialties.

02:30 PM - ITIMAD-UD-DAULAH'S TOMB (BABY TAJ)
After lunch, head to Itimad-ud-Daulah's Tomb, also known as the "Baby Taj." Admire the exquisite marble inlay work and serene gardens surrounding this beautiful mausoleum. it is often referred to as the "Baby Taj" due to its architectural resemblance to the Taj Mahal. This exquisite mausoleum, built between 1622 and 1628, is the final resting place of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, who was a minister to Emperor Jahangir and the grandfather of Mumtaz Mahal (the Taj Mahal's inspiration).

03:30 PM - SIKANDRA
Visit Sikandra, the tomb of Emperor Akbar. Take a leisurely stroll through the lush gardens and explore the beautiful architecture of this historical site.

04:30 PM - SHOPPING
Before leaving Agra, spend some time shopping for local handicrafts, marble inlay work, and traditional Agra sweets. Popular shopping areas include Sadar Bazaar and Kinari Bazaar. Agra is renowned for producing exquisite handicrafts, including inlay work on marble and stone carving.
