Day Trip to Guruvayoor

COCHIN – GURUVAYOOR

Pick up from Hotel/Airport/Railway station in Cochin and drive to Guruvayoor. Guruvayoor is 80 km away from Cochin.

ARRIVES GURUVAYOOR

Arrives Guruvayoor. Upon arrival, go for Darshan at Guruvayoor Temple.

Guruvayoor Temple:

The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna, the incarnation of God Vishnu. Guruvayoor temple is one of the famous temples of south India. This place is regarded as a major center for devotees of Vishnu in South India. The temple is flocked by a large number of pilgrims every day. While going for Darshana , you might come across and witness Hindu marriages. Darshan timings are morning to evening except 12:00 noon to 04:30 PM.

DRIVER TO TIRUMALA

Come out from temple after Darshan and go for Lunch at any good restaurants.

VISIT KODANADU ELEPHANT CENTER

Drive back for Cochin. On way back, en-route visit Kodanadu Elephant training center.

Kodanadu Elephant Training Center:

This is the biggest Elephant training center not only in Kerala but for whole south India. You can see elephants bathe and feed. Now only 68 elephants are kept here and being cared in humane manner.

After the visit of Kodanad elephant center, continue drive to Cochin.
