Begin your day early by leaving Bangalore around 6:00 AM. The drive to Mysore is approximately 3 hours (140 km), so starting early will allow you to visit multiple attractions in Mysore and Srirangapatna.

09:00 AM ARRIVAL IN SRIRANGAPATNA
Srirangapatna, located just 15 km from Mysore, is a historical town that was once the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore under Tipu Sultan. It is home to several monuments and the famous Ranganathaswamy Temple.

09:00 AM - 09:45 PM VISIT RANGANATHASWAMY TEMPLE
This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Ranganatha (a form of Lord Vishnu) and is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the region.

TEMPLE ARCHITECTURE:
The temple has a grand tower (Rajagopuram) and exquisite sculptures, and is famous for its large reclining statue of Lord Ranganatha.
