The abode of the most respected Saint, Sai Baba, where statue of Sai baba in temple is worshipped by pilgrims in large numbers, flocked daily here from all over the world. Upon arrival in Shirdi, you are met and visit to the temple complex to see the life size statue of Sai Baba in Samadhi along with Dwarkamai Mosque where Sai Baba is said to have meditated.
It attracts millions of visitors every year and is spread over an area of 2 sq km. Shirdi is known for its famous temple of Sai Baba, established in 1922, was built over the Samadhi of Sai Baba. Saint Sai is said to have lived here between 1838 and 1918. The presence of this divine saint can be felt at the shrine. Shirdi Sai baba is visited by both Hindu and Muslim pilgrims.
Visit Shani Shingnapur::
If time permits, one can go and visit the Hindu pilgrimage Shani Shingnapur temple nearby. It is around 60 km away from Shirdi. The place is known for famous Shani temple, visited by more than 30000 pilgrims every day. There is a five and a half feet high black rock installed on an open air platform that symbolizes the idol of God Shani, which is offered prayer with flowers and oil by the Hindu followers.
