DAY TRIP TO AGRA BY TRAIN
Pick up from the hotel in Delhi and transferred to New Delhi railway station to board an air-conditioned Gatimaan Express train to Agra.

Train departs from New Delhi railway station. Breakfast will be served in the train.
Train reaches Agra. At arrival, guest is picked up from Agra railway station by company’s representative to make sure that you get a good guide who takes you for the sightseeing tour of Agra for the whole day. After an introduction of tour guide, guided city tour of Agra starts.
Visiting Taj Mahal:
One of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal is located on the bank of river Yamuna, regarded one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. The construction of Taj Mahal started in 1631 and completed in 1653. 20,000 workers had been labored for 22 years by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to complete the Marble wonder. Precious and semi precious stones were used in intricate marble work. The marble used for building Taj Mahal was brought to Agra from the place called Makarna near Jodhpur in Rajasthan in 16th century. Visiting Agra Fort:
This majestic fort was built by Mughal Emperor Akabar between 1565 to 1573.Agra fort is situated on the west bank of river Yamuna and northwest of famous monument Taj Mahal. 14:00 hrs: Tomb of I'timad-ud-Daulah
After Lunch visit the exquisite tomb of the emperor Jehangir’s chief minister and father - in - law, often called the ‘Baby Taj’ because its design foreshadows the Taj Mahal. Often described as a "jewel box", sometimes called the "Baby Taj", the tomb of I'timad-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. It comprises numerous outbuildings and gardens. The tomb, built between 1622 and 1628 represents a transition between the first phase of monumental Mughal architecture primarily built from red sandstone with marble decorations. The mausoleum was commissioned by Nur Jahan, the wife of Jahangir, for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg, originally a Persian Amir in exile.
Fatehpur Sikri visit is Optional
Fatehpur sikiri is popularly known as “The Ghost City” or “abandoned City” situated 40 km from Agra. The construction of Fatehpur Sikri started by Mughal emperor Akbar in 1570 in an honor of Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chisti. It took 15 years for Emperor to complete the structure but he had to leave the city due the lake of water and also of the proximity to the Rajput province. The city of Fatehpur Sikri is an imperial city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. The architectural grandeur of this deserted city cannot be described in words and one can only experience the aura of its magnificent edifices by seeing them.
